Cheeseburger Soup
A hearty, meaty, cheesy soup with ground beef, potatoes, carrots and a lot of cheese.

Full Ingredient List
Soup
- 1 to 1.5 lb hamburger
- 1 small onion, chopped or 1 Tbsp of dehydrated onion flakes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup red pepper, chopped
- 2 cups of beef bullion
- 4 cups potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup of carrots, cubed
Cheese Sauce
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 2.5 cups milk
- 8 ounces of cheddar cheese by weight, shredded
Directions
Soup
- Cook and rinse 1 lb of hamburger
- Cook 1 small onion and 1/4 cup of red pepper and 1 clove of garlic in some of the leftover fat from hamburger
- In pressure cooker, add
- cooked hamburger,
- onion, pepper, potatoes
- beef bullion
- Add enough liquid to cover hamburger and vegetables
- Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes
- Quick release of pressure
Cheese Sauce
Over medium to medium-hight heat:
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter
- Whisk in 2 Tbsp flour
- Slowly add 2.5 cups of milk
- Bring to a boil
- Add 8 ounces of cheese
- Stir until thoroughly mixed
Add sauce to soup, thoroughly mix, and server hot.
