Poutine Gravy

Nice tasting gravy to go on your french fries and cheese.
- Prep time: 10 minutes
- Cook time: 20 minutes
- Total: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 small clove minced garlic
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups beef stock
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
Directions
- Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add 1 small clove garlic and saute until browned.
- Add:
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups beef stock.
- 2 tbsp ketchup.
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Bring to a boil.
- While that is heating, in a separate saucepan melt 3 tbsp butter and stir in 3 tbsp flour to make a roux.
- Whisk stock mixture into the roux and simmer until reduced by half about 20 minutes.
Spoon over french fries and cheese, and enjoy!
