Quiche
eggs
Eggs, milk, spices and some ham makes a delicious lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pie crust, warmed to room temperature
- 6 large eggs
- 3/4 cup of milk
- dash of dried dill
- pepper
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 of a ham steak, cubed
Directions
Preheat oven to 375F.
Break 6 large eggs into a large bowl and scramble well.
Add 3/4 cup milk to eggs and mix thoroughly.
Add dashes of dried dill and ground black pepper.
Shred 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese and add to egg mixture.
Cube 1/2 of a ham steak and add to mixture.
Put pie crust into a 9” pie dish, pour egg mixture in.
Wrap edges of pie crust with aluminum foil to avoid burning.
Bake at 375F for 35 - 45 minutes.
Quiche is done when middle is set and stops jiggling.
