Eggs, milk, spices and some ham makes a delicious lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust, warmed to room temperature
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • dash of dried dill
  • pepper
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 of a ham steak, cubed

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375F.

  • Break 6 large eggs into a large bowl and scramble well.

  • Add 3/4 cup milk to eggs and mix thoroughly.

  • Add dashes of dried dill and ground black pepper.

  • Shred 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese and add to egg mixture.

  • Cube 1/2 of a ham steak and add to mixture.

  • Put pie crust into a 9” pie dish, pour egg mixture in.

  • Wrap edges of pie crust with aluminum foil to avoid burning.

  • Bake at 375F for 35 - 45 minutes.

  • Quiche is done when middle is set and stops jiggling.
