Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (11 1/2 oz)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Grease 12 muffin cups
  • In a large bowl, mix together:
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1/3 cup brown sugar
    • 1/3 cup white sugar
    • 2 tsp baking powder
  • In another bowl, stir together:
    • 2/3 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup melted & cooled butter
    • 2 eggs beaten
    • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, add the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes at 400F until center seems done or tops bounce when lightly touched.
