Cold Taco Dip

Like a cold taco, goes great with nacho’s.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 1/1 cups salsa
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Directions

  • Brown 1 lb ground beef until no longer pink. Drain, return to heat.
  • Add 1 1/2 cups salsa.
  • Depending on how watery the salsa is, you may want to simmer off some water to thicken it.
  • In a bowl, combine 8 oz cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream, 1 package taco seasoning.
  • In a 9 x 11 dish, layer:
    • cream mixture
    • ground beef and salsa mix
    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chill in fridge at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Serve cold with nacho chips.
