Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

Wet

  • 1 cup of butter (two sticks), room temperature;
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar;
  • 1/2 cup white sugar;
  • 2 eggs, room temperature;
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dry

  • 1 1/2 cups flour;
  • 1 tsp baking soda;
  • 1 tsp cinnamon;
  • 3 cups oats (quick or old fashioned);
  • 1 cup raisins.

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F;
  • Cream together 1 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar;
  • Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla, beat until combined;
  • In another bowl, combine the 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soday, and 1 tsp cinnamon, and then mix into the wet ingredients;
  • Stir in 3 cups oats, and then finally the 1 cup of raisins.
  • Drop onto a lined cookie sheet, and bake at 350 F for 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown.
